Shri Paul George

Shri Paul George has nearly three decades of experience working with people in a wide range of socio-economic settings. He is actively involved in developmental work at grass root level, expanding into areas of awareness creation, social action for community and capacity building among the marginalized sections.

He has done graduation in Commerce and Accountancy (Hons) from Bombay University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management where he was merit Scholar for highest grades. He is recipient of the UNESCO Award Asia-Pacific Region for Heritage Conservation, Sanmaan Patra by Aga Khan Foundation and Presidents Medal on three occasions Bombay YMCA Annual Fund Raising.

He has served in key leadership and managerial positions over the past 27 years in Bombay YMCA. He is associated with various national and international NGOs in advisory capacity. He has introduced Computer education to Bombay YMCA, started Hope Centre for re-habilitaion of drug addicts, initiated the YMCA Mahila Nyay Manch for women in distress and involved in the Habitat for Humanity Project at Lonavala, Maharashtra.
